When do I need to make my appointment? I am a very busy mom with 2 NOT so little boys, so in order to keep my family first, I only accept so many appointments per week. With that in mind, it is best to book in advance for weekends and evenings. Day time appointments are fairly open. My hours vary with my clientele and my families needs.
Do you take Saturday Appointments? I do! They book up quickly. September through December I work 7 days a week, including Sundays.
Where do you take the pictures? I prefer location/outdoors. I have several cool locations I can suggest. I am also happy yo come your way! Travel fees may apply. I do have a small studio in Leo that can hold a family of 5.
What should we wear? There is no wrong outfit. You are also welcome to change outfits. I do have a few suggestions: Bib overalls tend to ride up on babies. All black or all white for a family tends to wash people out. You don't have to all match, you just have to go together!
Do you have any special packages for a baby's first year? I do! I offer a 3 pose sitting and a package of 1-8x10, 4-4x6 for $40. All the prints do need to be from the same image. It does come with a discounted price list.
When do we pay for the session? At the time of the sitting. I take cash, check or credit/debit card.
We had our picture taken, what's the next step? I do try to finish your pictures as soon as possible. I am also trying to deliver beautifully edited images, please be patient, it tends to take me about a week. The images are uploaded to an online gallery you can share with family and friends.
How many pictures will be in our gallery? Every session is unique, which means the number of pictures you receive may vary from others. For an 8 pose sitting you can expect 16-20 images, 12 pose sitting 24-30 images, and a 16 pose sitting 30-40 images. You will have a mixture of pure color images, B&W, and vintage style images. Each image is taken specifically to look this way, they way you see the image is the way it was taken.
I don't see one of the poses you took in our gallery? It amazes me that you can remember all the different things we did! If I didn't include a specific pose, it's because it didn't meet my standard of quality. Some just don't quite make the cut.
How long will our gallery be up? Galleries are active for 3 months. If you need it activated again there is a $15 reactivation fee.
Can we purchase our digital files? Yes you can! With any print order of $135 or more your digital files will be available to download from the gallery. If you would just like to purchase your gallery files, the entire gallery is $135. If you had a large family of 10-15 people the print/gallery purchase has to be $150. 16-25 people it is $200 and 26 or more people, $250. For the bump plus newborn session the purchase for the prints/gallery has to meet $175.
What if I am late to a session? If you are 15 minutes or later to your session, I reserve the right to reschedule your appointment. If we do go ahead with your appointment you may not receive a full set, but you are still charged for a full session.
What if my child just isn't cooperating or nervous? We can definitely reschedule. I want to be able to capture smiles and cute faces and personality for you. If we do decide to go ahead with the set, you may not get a full set for the time limit, however, you are charged for a full set. I also do not expect a smile in every image or pose that I do. I am capturing different facial expressions, cute little quirks. Sometimes I am not evening getting the front of you, I am getting cute little hands and feet, chubby legs, or a walk and a wobble.
What is your retake policy? When I edit your set I do a light retouching to the images. If you do have further retouching needs, just ask. We can discuss it and I can give you an estimate. Retouching is $35 an hour and is prorated.
What if I need retakes? What? I wasn't awesome enough for you? Seriously, if you do feel a need for retakes, I make a decision on a case by case basis. Normally, unless there is a technical malfunction, there is a fee for retakes. During your set, if you feel you are uncomfortable or have a different vision for your set, please let me know. I want nothing more than to do an exceptional job for you.
